POST SNOWSTORM Win for the Knicks!

Greetings folks!

What a great way to wind down the evening. Our Knicks got us a nice win tonight against Chicago.

It’s been a tricky stretch for the past week. After a nice win on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers team that has been one of the surprises of the young NBA season, the Knicks took some steps back.

They put up a valiant effort against the Clippers for 3 quarters but lost momentum in the 4th. They traveled to Chicago and came up short after a back-and-forth affair. Lauri Markkanen lit us up for 30 points and the Bulls came away victorious. The loss weighed heavy on fans like the serious snowstorm that POUNDED the east coast with many feet of snow!

But Wednesday was different day ladies and gentlemen.

Wednesday the snow stopped.

Wednesday the LOSING stopped

Wednesday our team got back on the right track!!!

The Knicks came out the gate swinging and never looked back. Julius Randle is playing at an ALL-STAR level right now. Our man finished tonight with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. It’s starting to become standard business for Julius to put up these outstanding numbers.

Fans: we gotta ROCK THE VOTE and get this man in the All-Star game ASAP!! Look at these numbers for Randle:

  • Points per game: 22.4
  • Rebounds per game: 11.1 (8th in the NBA)
  • Assists per game: 6

PS – He leads the Knicks in all categories!

In addition, RJ Barrett continues to take strides in the right direction. He finished the game with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Beyond just the stats, you got to LOVE his confidence is rising on the court. He is driving to the basket with authority utilizing both the left and right hand. Both Julius and RJ were not going to allow the Bulls to sneak one out tonight and this was a beautiful thing.  Cheers to Coach Tibs for increased focus on not letting Markkanen get comfortable tonight. He finished with 9 points which was a far cry from the 30 he put up on Monday!

What’s Next: Time for a date with Portland on Saturday 02/06/2021. Time to avenge the narrow defeat a couple weeks ago!!!
