win streak reflections
Greetings Knicks fans! So tonight, our glorious win streak came to an end. The 2nd place Suns were able to overcome a second half deficit and came out on top. FEAR NOT fans.
There were a lot of positives to take out of the past few weeks.
• Julius Randle was an ABSOLUTE BEAST during the streak. He was Eastern conference player of the week (Apr 11th – 18th). He put up 35.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists a game. HOLLAAA
• RJ Barrett has taken his game to higher heights!! He has double figures in the past 6 games including 3 20+ point games.
• Derrick Rose has been showing flashes of the MVP that was tearing the league apart 10 years ago. Simply put when this man is on the floor the team gets a turbo boost and plays get made with style and grace babybabyyyyyyyyyyy
• Shout out to Knicks management for picking up Nerlens Noel. The BLOCKS this man has this season are something else! Feast your eyes on this MONSTER BLOCK. There have been plenty of those and plenty to come.
Certainly, the loss last night was disappointing.
BUT! Overall, our Knicks have been playing incredible these past few weeks. And now we have a 9-game winning streak for a team that wasn’t even expected to win over 22 games by folks in Vegas. Three of the 9 wins came in exciting overtime fashion which was beautiful to see. The Knicks made folks proud with these wins and now its TIME, in the words of DJ Khaled, for ANOTHER ONE!!!
